FAQ

The first step is the most important. Here are the answers to frequently asked questions by students.

I’m overweight, can I pole?

We have always believed that pole dancing is for EVERYONE. Regardless of shape and size, every woman is fit for this empowering class.

Sure, pole dancing promises a great workout but more than anything else, our goal is make women feel comfortable about their bodies. We don’t judge students according to body size. 🙂

I’m too old, can I pole?

What is too old anyway? Age is just a number!

I can’t dance, can I pole?

Though having dance background is great, it is NOT a requirement. Trust the fact that everything has to start somewhere. Sure, it may be a bit difficult at first, but eventually given constant training and practice, we are certain that you would look spectacular on that pole.

Most of our students who started out do not have dancing background at all. It’s normal to feel scared when you try something new for the first time. You just have to go for it and the rest will follow.

I’m shy, can I wear a t-shirt and leggings to class?

it’s perfectly normal for most girls to feel shy at first. Know that it’s all part of the process. Rest assured that all the teachers that handle our classes are very friendly and accommodating. Eventually, your inhibitions will go away.

Wearing a shirt to class is fine, leggings are a big NO. Pole dancing requires a lot of friction from your legs to grip and stay on the pole. Just make sure to remember that it helps if you look nice while you work out. You’ll be looking at yourself in the mirror the whole class! Would you rather see a girl in a ratty T, or a girl in lipstick rocking her sports tank?

I’m scared of looking stupid, can I just watch a class?

We all look stupid while learning new things. Sure you will be a bit awkward at first, but as you attend classes regularly, eventually you will get the hang of it. One thing we can assure you is that you will improve and get better at it after a while.

If you feel that you would rather observe a class on your first day, it’s fine. You are free to talk to the teachers and ask questions as well.

I don’t like bruises. And I love lotion too much.

Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about this matter. Lotion is a big NO as well. Not only does it make you slippery, hence making it impossible for you to stay on the pole, it also affects the next person using your pole. So, for the sake of safety and pole etiquette PLEASE DO NOT PUT ON LOTION IF YOU ARE ATTENDING OUR CLASS. Thank you.

About the bruises, well. No Pain no gain. 🙂

Kaya ko ba yan? (Can I do it?)

You’ll never know until you try 🙂
